Heidi Bayer is a Cologne-based trumpeter, composer, and bandleader known for her distinctive voice in contemporary jazz. After classical roots on the clarinet and jazz studies in Mainz, Miami, and Essen, she has been shaping the German jazz scene with innovative projects like Virtual Leak and KORSH. Her music blends composition and improvisation with emotional depth, wit, and a forward-looking spirit — earning her critical acclaim, numerous awards, and a growing presence on international stages.
